Hi, I’m Victoria a home baker, based in Earley, Reading.
I make proper homemade cakes… the kind that taste like they’ve come straight from a warm kitchen, not a showroom. I’m not about big, fancy tiered creations, I’m all about real, comforting bakes made with love.
Alongside my cakes, I also make hand-stamped fudge (which is just as good as it sounds) and offer beautiful afternoon tea sets available to hire, perfect for those special get-togethers where you want things to feel a little extra without the stress.
One of my favourite things to create is full cake tables for weddings and special occasions. There’s something lovely about bringing everything together and knowing it’s part of someone’s big moment.
I also run a lovely, ever-growing Facebook community where I host “Winning Wednesday” each week, a little bit of fun and a way to connect with all of you who support what I do. This is where you will also find "Kindness Cake", my community feel-good cake!
Everything I make is done from the heart, for people who love proper homemade treats as much as I do.
Cakes
I have a set menu which I have created and grown over time. Consisting mainly of 8” two layer cakes and tray bakes, I have a wide range of flavours to choose from. These bakes can be ordered for collections Thursday to Sunday. You can also purchase “spare slices” in my Facebook group, as and when I have them, (you’ll find the link further down the page). You might also find me at local events as well as in my own garden, hosting pop up shops from “The Sponge Hut”. Dates of such events will be advertised on my social media platforms.
Hand Stamped Personalised Fudge Gifts
My hand stamped fudge gifts can be ordered for collection or postage any day of the week. They make great gifts for all occasions; birthdays, christenings, graduation, good luck, new home, Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day, corporate gifts, etc. All wording is your own and does not affect the price. I can advise what will fit and design the layout too. They also make great party and wedding favours! As each item is home made and hand stamped, the possibilities are endless.
Weddings & Occasions
I love bringing that home made touch to special occasions. If you’d like to find out more about what I can offer for your event please get in touch. I offer free evening or weekend “Cake Consultations” in The Sponge Hut, at my home in Earley. This is a relaxed, informal chat, where we can discuss all options and costs. It’s a chance for you view menus and photos, ask questions and try some cake! There is no obligation to book with me, this is simply a chance to see if I have what you need.

Winning Wednesday
Winning Wednesday is my little weekly bit of fun over on my Facebook group.

Afternoon Tea Sets To Hire
Whilst I don't have capacity to offer a full Afternoon Tea, I do have a lovely range of vintage tea china available to hire. My sets are complete with tea cups & saucers, tea pots, cake stands, sandwich plates, jam pots and much more! Cakes can be ordered alongside these items. Please ask me about availability.
